Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

The word Desiderata translated from Latin, literally means “desired things.” The words of Max Ehrmann, which were written in 1927, did not become a popular anthem for living until long after his death. Today, the prose poem Desiderata, is known world-wide and hangs on many a wall or sits on many a desk, table or bookcase and encourages a healthy attitude for dealing with life, our fellow man and the world at large. A warm Florida sunrise over the bay waters with ornamental pampas grass completes the background scene.
