There is nothing quite as peaceful as a place to quiet the mind, and a place to be mindful of what you are reading, without all the voices distracting you from the words. v/f

Angelina Vick replied:

Thank you very much John! I agree. Some of my happiest, most peaceful days...are spent curled up with a book.

Looking closer, I'm still not sure if they are actually carved in the stone, it doesn't look like it, but it sure feels that way. And even if they aren't, it's still a good idea and the words still ring true!

Angelina Vick replied:

=) A mystery huh? Yes...they are actually carved. I really like the quote as I am a huge book lover, it's carved into the Denver library. Thanks Phillip!

Nice words. I assume the quote is carved in the stone? If they are, then I like the effect of seeing the words on the image first, as if they are typed on it like with most quote prints, but then when looking closer to discover that they are carved in the stone, and are an inherent part of and are the image itself...

Warm and thought provoking quote, I enjoy how the mortar lines pull you in.

Angelina Vick replied:

Thank you. I like how words can be placed in a way that leave a permanent impression on a mind.
