THE HAWK AND THE MOON
A Red Shouldered Hawk silhouetted by the full moon sits on a branch high up in a tree in the Florida Everglades. The hawk seems to love this tree, it's there almost every evening affording me some amazing opportunities to photograph it under different skies and weather conditions. I was pretty far away using a telephoto lens and I didn't even notice the hawk until I loaded up the image in my computer. It was definitely a nice surprise!
